Finally 8th at the Race, the two companions have the opportunity to conclude the year in beauty with a prestigious title.
Drawn in the Green group, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis are with the pairs Wesley Koolhof/Neal Koolhof, Nikola Mektic/Mate Pavic and Ivan Dodig/Austin Krajicek. This Monday, they played their first match of the tournament against Koolhof/Skupski, recently titled at the Rolex Paris Masters. In the super tie-break, the Australians fell 6-7(3), 6-4, 10-5. They will have to bounce back on Wednesday to stay alive in this group.
