Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios continued his attack on Stefanos Tsitsipas over their Wimbledon 2022 feud, saying the Greek’s comments on the incident were “embarrassing.”
The two players have been embroiled in a heated rivalry since their match at the All England Club in July, with Tsitsipas recently criticizing Kyrgios’ behavior during the match.
Kyrgios took to social media to hit back at the Greek’s comments, sharing a picture of them on the court with him jubilantly celebrating his victory.
“Embarrassing quote whilst we all look at the scoreboard hahaha,” Nick Kyrgios wrote.
Earlier, Tsitsipas said that the Australian “was playing the clown” during the match. In reply, Kyrgios cited an incident in which Tsitsipas hit a spectator, suggesting the Greek had also lost his composure during the heated encounter.

Kyrgios defeated Tsitsipas in a thrilling four-set match in the third round of Wimbledon 2022. Tempers flared throughout the tie, with Kyrgios constantly complaining and arguing, and Tsitsipas did not hesitate to make his feelings known after the match.
However, the pair put their differences aside to compete in the doubles together at the Diriyah Tennis Cup in December. After their Wimbledon row, they showed that they had reconciled as they joined forces. They were beaten by the duo of Hubert Hurkacz and Dominic Stricker.
